Fashion Week is my favorite time of the year and one of the many reasons why I love being a New Yorker. Paris Fashion Week has just wrapped up, which featured Fall '09 collections of designers such as Chloe, Dior, Givenchy, Chanel and Miu Miu just to name a few. There were a ton of updos. Many shows featured matte red lips on porcelain skin, while others drew attention to the eyes with thick black liner and false lashes.
Compared to New York Fashion Week, the Parisians tend to experiment a little more with color and creativity. I'm anxious to see how the looks will translate from catwalk to sidewalk. (photo from Christian Lacroix)
